# Nodey

> Nodey is a mobile companion app for n8n (the workflow automation tool). It is not a no-code builder and not an n8n competitor — it connects to your existing n8n instance so you can monitor runs, diagnose failures, and trigger workflows from your phone. Available on iOS and Android.

## What Nodey does

- Live execution monitoring: total workflows, active count, 24-hour error trends, one-tap drill-in on recent failures.
- Geofenced and NFC workflow triggers: fire a webhook without unlocking the phone, using location or an NFC tag.
- On-device workflow vault: back up any workflow and restore it to any n8n instance, encrypted locally, unlocked with Face ID or a passkey.
- AI Workflow Builder: describe a workflow in plain language and Nodey designs the node list, connections, configuration, error handling, and testing notes, then sends the JSON straight to the connected n8n instance.
- 9+ AI features covering security hardening, error pattern analysis, code optimization, and workflow deep-dive Q&A — usable via a Nodey AI subscription or by bringing your own Claude, Gemini, or Mistral API key (BYOK) at no extra cost.
- Home Screen widgets and push notifications that surface n8n activity without opening the app.
- Dark mode and light mode, matching system appearance.

## Pricing

Free to download. Core monitoring is free. AI features are available via a Nodey AI subscription, or free of charge if the user brings their own API key (BYOK) for Claude, Gemini, or Mistral.

## Who built it

Nodey is built by Hesham Mashhour, a Cambridge medicine graduate turned AI-directed developer, operating as Skin Kins Co. It is a solo-built, independently developed app — not a large company product. Contact goes directly to the developer, not a support queue.
